Out of everything in our rental collection, candles are hands-down the most requested item. They instantly transform a space, adding warmth, depth, and that romantic glow everyone loves.
But unless you’re a bit of a candle connoisseur, the terminology can get confusing. So, we’ve put together this quick guide to help you describe your candle vision with confidence!
Candle Holders
Cylinder
Available in three heights — 6”, 8”, and 12” — these versatile glass holders can be used with floating candles or pillar candles.
Candlestick
Classic and elegant, our candlesticks come in antique gold, clear glass, and black. They’re designed for taper candles and always require a hurricane or chimney to safely enclose the flame.
Footed Candle Holder
These come in several heights and are perfect for floating candles or petite pillars, adding beautiful dimension to your tablescape.
Votive
Small but mighty! These tiny holders are ideal for tealights and make the perfect accent glow scattered throughout your design.
Candle Types
Pillar
The timeless, chunky cylinder candles you see everywhere — we offer them in white or ivory to match any aesthetic.
Taper
The tall, slender candles that fit into candlesticks. We source ours from a trusted online retailer with a wide range of colors to complement your palette.
Floating
These round, disc-shaped candles float gracefully on water. We fill the cylinder or footed holder about three-quarters full, and the candle drifts beautifully on top. Just note: once moved or flipped, they can’t be relit if wet — so they’re best left in place once styled.
