How do I hire The Tallest Tulip to design flowers for my event?

Visit our Services page and select your event type! Complete the inquiry form with your event details and we will get back to you to schedule a time to chat!

What is your process?

When we receive your request, we will check our calendar to see if we have the date available. We take a limited number of events per weekend. If the date is available, we will schedule a time to meet in our studio or speak with you over the phone about your style preferences and colors. After that, we will put together a proposal detailing price and style ideas.  A mock-up centerpiece or bouquet can be made if requested. There will be a full-price charge for the mock up. Then, we handle the rest and you’ll have beautiful flowers for your wedding or event!

Do you have a minimum?

 We offer 2 types of wedding floral design services.

Our Full Scope Wedding Design service requires a minimum of $3,000 budget for wedding flowers (for 2021 wedding dates). The Full Scope service includes a complimentary consultation, a custom proposal, a design meeting 3 months prior to your wedding date, a trip to the flower market to view and select varieties, access to our inventory of rental items, and our team onsite the day-of (at one or two locations) to deliver, set-up and style your event as well as clean-up following the reception. 

For smaller weddings or a budget under $3,000 (for 2021 wedding dates), we also offer an A La Carte service. This service includes a consultation with one of our designers, a custom proposal, and day-of delivery to your reception venue. (For delivery, we will deliver within a selected 2 hour window to one location.) This delivery is to drop-off flowers only the client will be responsible for arranging set-up and clean-up. The flowers can also be picked up from our studio for no charge.  


Where do you provide services?
Our studio is located in Sienna Plantation in Southwest Houston. BUT, we cover the entire Houston area and will travel for weddings and events.
Can I pick specific flowers for my event/wedding?
During our in-person consultation we will discuss the shape, texture and color choices for your flowers. You can absolutely suggest favorite flowers that we will make all possible and reasonable efforts to obtain. However, because flowers are seasonal and come from all over the world, not all flowers are always available. If we cannot obtain a specific flower, we will substitute a similar flower with the same color/texture/shape to achieve the overall design scheme we’ve decided upon.
Can I buy individual or a la carte arrangements or flowers?

Yes! We offer a curated collection of arrangements available for purchase in our Shop.

Where do you deliver individual flower orders? (this does not apply to weddings/events)

We deliver within a 10 mile radius of our studio! When shopping, enter your zip code on the product page to check to see if we deliver to your zip code!

If we do not deliver to your location, flowers can be picked up from our shop. 


What is your delivery policy for individual flower orders?

Please provide the recipient’s phone number during check-out. We will call the recipient prior to delivery to make sure someone will be available at the delivery address to accept the flowers. We deliver Tuesday-Friday between 3:00pm-6:00pm and Saturday after 11:00am. 

If no one is available to accept the flowers, we will leave them in a shaded safe place at the delivery address unless otherwise instructed. We can redeliver the flowers the following day for a redelivery charge. 

In Texas, flowers will wilt within an hour when left outside during hot months. We strongly suggest that you make sure the recipient will be home or at the place of delivery to accept flowers on the date you select during the delivery window. The Tallest Tulip is not responsible for damage to flowers due to them being left outside.

There are not enough stars available for The Tallest Tulip! Ashley and her girls made the most beautiful arrangements, bouquets, garlands, boutonnières, and flower girl hoops! I sent Ashley a few pictures from Pinterest and said ‘something like this’ and she took those ideas to literally bring my dream to life! Ashley took me to the flower market to show me exactly the flowers and greenery she had picked out to make sure it was in line with my vision – it was so great to work with her to pick out the perfect flowers! To top it off, on my wedding day I last minute asked Ashley to affix my rosary to my bouquet.. she didn’t think twice and got right to it – it made the perfect personal touch. I give Ashley and the girls at The Tallest Tulip a 10 out of 10, thank you, thank you for making our wedding day the most beautiful day ever with the perfect flowers!!
